Giving Back

Living Our Values

At A Place for Mom we believe it's our social responsibility to give back to our community and do everything we can to improve the lives of seniors and families.

We've been a long-time fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association’s annual "Walk to End Alzheimer's," the nation's largest campaign to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer research. Alzheimer's disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and the only cause of death among the top 10 in the United States that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed.

With A Place for Mom Senior Living Advisors located across the U.S. and Canada, and in Seattle, WA where our corporate office is located, we cast a wide net of support and fundraising to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing the quality of life for those living with the disease.

A Place for Mom is dedicated to supporting the hardworking community of caregivers. Each year, we send a caregiver to a retreat at Joan Lunden's Camp Reveille where she can take a break from her responsibilities and spend a week relaxing, re-energizing and rejuvenating. Learn more.
